DANIGOND PARAMEDICAL COLLEGE, TERDAL
SDMT’S Danigond Paramedical College, Terdal under Danigond Group of Institutes, Terdal was started in the year 2015-16 with an intention of providing quality Medical Laboratory education to aspirants around Terdal who had to travel long distances. Under the able guidance and leadership of our Hon’ble Chairman Dr. Mahaveer S Danigond and the Managing Director Dr. Pushpadant M Danigond along with a dedicated team, the institution has grown steadily.
The college began with an intake of 40 students and is affiliated with Karnataka Nursing & Paramedical Sciences Education Authority Paramedical Board, Bangalore and recognized by the Government of Karnataka. Clinical practice is carried out at our own 100-bedded multispecialty parent hospital – SDMT’S Padma Hospital, Terdal and other hospitals.
The institution has excellent infrastructure with modern teaching aids and fully equipped laboratories for clinical practice and simulations. Highly qualified and experienced faculty members are available round the clock. The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance ensuring safety and security. The college also has a vast library with over 2500 textbooks, national and international journals, and internet facilities. Separate hostels for boys and girls along with indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as cricket, volleyball, throwball, kabaddi, and kho-kho promote overall student development.
Diploma in Medical Laboratory (DMLT) Course
It is a 3-year course with 3 board examinations. Students study all subjects prescribed by the board in each academic year.
